Mexico City Congress Descends Into Chaos, Could It Happen Here?
Lawmakers in the Mexico City Congress got into a full fledged brawl in their parliament on Monday. It happened during a debate over the disbandment of the Mexico City Transparency Institute and the body slated to replace it. Members from the Morena party, AND their rivals the National Action Party known as PAN - were pulling each other's hair, throwing elbows, slapping and wrestling.

"It goes to show you how well behaved we are when you look at what's going on not only in Mexico but you see in Asia you know? You've seen a lot of fights going on all over the place I think I have seen in Canada also but in Central America that happens all the time. Listen we again, the media likes to sensationalize negative things but look at where we are. We could argue with one another in the house but when that is done we are hugging one another, talking and we are friends that is what it is all about. You do your work but at the end of the day we are all Belizeans. so why would we need to be able to go into any kind of physical fight?"
