St. John's Credit Union was formed in this very month 60 years ago. 18 thousand members and $27 million later its become one of the country=s largest credit unions. As part of it=s 60th year of existence this week the union is going out on a campaign to educate the public, particularly school-aged children on the credit union movement and the need to be a member of one. We caught up with them at Queen's Square Anglican School and found out more.

"We have found it necessary to go to school because we know that that is where the young people are and they will eventually become the workers of tomorrow who will be earning and who will find the need to save and who will have the various needs to borrow from the credit union, to satisfy their various financial needs."

St. John's Credit Union crusaders have been doing the in-school visits all this week across the city.
