And while those footballers enjoy their time abroad, those majoring in the sciences won't need to go far to make a career out of it.

Yesterday, we brought you our media tour of Di Bruwry, a restaurant built into the Belize Brewing Company's brewery. During that tour, we learnt of the 29 new employees who work there, some of whom are brewers.

And the Brew Master, Nolan Michael, said that those studying Chemistry and Biology can find their next job right there – just like he did.

Nolan Michael - Brew Master, Belize Brewing Company Limited

"We created a number of permanent positions with this investment. The quality of the education in Belie has been getting better and better, UB, some of the other facilities, St John's Junior College, are significantly investing in their science and technology capabilities, we're very happy to have those facilities investing in that, we're always looking for highly qualified, young individuals, their enthusiasm has always brought new life to our facilities and many people do not know the extent of the technology that we operate here at Belize Brewing Company so they become amazed when we bring them in and show then this is the opportunities that they have, you can see the light come up in their eye that actually I enjoy science and I actually have a place that I can come and work and apply the science that I've learned in school. I had an interest in Chemistry and I had some of the same concerns, I wanted to study chemistry in school, but you're always looking at the industrialization of Belie whether you would have a place to come back and work and fortunately, Belize Brewing Company and Bowen and Bowen gave an opportunity, a young fresh kid out of college, they gave me an opportunity, a brilliant company, I've enjoyed my time working here, I can't say enough good things about the experience."
