Over the last few months, we've been showing you the different initiatives from Assistant Police Commissioner Howell Gillett.

His style of community-based policing has involved meeting with gang figures, speaking with the mothers in gang-ridden areas, and taking at-risk youths to prison to show them why life behind bars is something they want to avoid at all costs. He and his team have also tried to foster more positive views among Belize City's young people in the hopes of getting them to abandon their natural distrust of the public servants who uphold the law.

Today, he did something similar with the judiciary by providing a group of young people with a behind-the-scenes look at what happens at the Supreme Court.
