It's been 60 years of service for the Peace Corps in Belize, a legacy that was celebrated today with the swearing-in of a new cohort of Volunteers - the first since the previous cohort was forced to depart in the face of COVID-19.

The nine new Volunteers will work with primary school principals and teachers to teach physical education.

The Volunteers have received comprehensive intercultural, language, and technical training.

They expect to work and reside in Belize for two years.
