Last Thursday, the state-owned telecoms company Digi, awarded 25 scholarships to deserving students. They were selected from a list of applicants countrywide, and they were chosen because they demonstrated scholastic capabilities and financial needs.
The Digi scholarship program started in 1991, and last week, the company welcomed these new students into the family of over 700 scholars who have benefited from the program over the 31 years.
