Prominent Senior Counsel Take The Helm at UB

Senior Counsel Godfrey Smith was today elected Chairman of the University of Belize - replacing Anthony Sylvester - who left in June to take up the post of Attorney General. As the designated Minister's Representative, the Board of Trustees today elected Smith as Chairman. His duties commence immediately.

It is an unexpected turn for the prominent attorney who told us he is committed to the University's transformation and that he sees it as a long term project, which he takes very seriously.
