Since then, in May of this year Belize Crocodile and Reptile Breeders Limited has been taken to court by the Department of the Environment for proceeding without an EIA. The matter continued today in Magistrate's Court before Magistrate Earl Jones when the Department of the Environment continued giving evidence of the alleged illegal activity of the company. The case is scheduled to continue on the 11th July. The respondent in the case is the manager for Crocodile and Reptile Breeders' Limited Frank Lopez.
