And now to another controversial subject - which is the cruise future of Belize. FECTAB's leadership - which is retained by the Feinstein Group - the one developing Port Coral - came out today to inveigh against the planned dredging at the Port of Belize's Waterloo development for a cruise port and bulk storage facility.
Past President Tom Greenwood said GB has given the green light to what he says will be a dredging disaster:
Greenwood went so far as to say the dredging of the silt filled Belize Coastline could lead to a yellow fever outbreak! We haven't seen one of these in a century - and it seems far-fetched - but he says, beware of the blackwater fever:
