"You see the vessel out there the other day, I think it's 15,000 tons, they vessel fills in the harbour here for 3 weeks and that same vessel goes to big creek in 3 and a half days."

"The ports have been dug out, dredges out properly, the proper investments made to make sure that these big ships could land and load the sugar. What would then happen to the stevedores?"

"Find something else to do."
