The Health Department is asking for your help in finding this vehicle - a 2007 Mitsubishi L-200 4-door pickup bearing license plate BZB-1743. With the emblem of the Ministry of health on both front doors.

It's not some luxurious ride for a high paid government officer, the pickup is used to do mobile clinics in all the rural villages of the Belmopan area.

If you see it or know where it is, please call the police department, or the office of the Western Health Region at 822-0500 during working hours or 621-0830 after working hours.

GSU, ADU Clean Out Prison

They've done plenty of work on the city streets - but early this morning, the GSU took their game to the KOLBE Central Prison. Alsong with the K-9 section of the ADU they searched the prison between 1:00 and 5:00 am, and seized drugs, the homemade weapons calles "bow-raz" and cell phones, which the GSU says are often used to communicate with criminal contacts on the outside to intimidate and threaten witnesses.

In total, 26 grams of cannabis were seized along with various sticks, PVC pipes, nails and metals as well as four cell phones - one of them even improvised to work with the facility's electricity supply and a pager.

A total of 300 inmates were also searched.
