But, what about the COVID numbers among the police? When last we heard there were 100 cops at home because of COVID - 60 had tested positive for the virus, while another 40 are in quarantine because of possible exposure. The Commissioner provided an update earlier today.

"I think there are still about 50, I need to get the correct updated figure, but we have a few who recovered, and we have a few who went into quarantine because of the fact that they might have been exposed. So, we still remain at that threshold of just about 100 officers who are inactive due to the COVID-19 pandemic."
Fortunately, no police officers are currently hospitalized for COVID symptoms.
