The Director of Health Services has released the latest information on the countrywide COVID-19 testing, which was completed yesterday. And unfortunately, 1 more Belizean - a woman in her 80s from Corozal - has died from the virus, bringing the country's total COVID casualties to 148. That also means that a total of 89 Belizeans died due to the pandemic in November alone. At the start of November, there were only 59 dead.

A total of 339 PCR tests were completed yesterday, and of that amount 111, almost a third, were positive for the coronavirus. Of the newly identified patients, 52 were detected in the Cayo District, and 21 were detected in the Stann Creek District.
