Today, the new Chairman of the KHMHA gave an overview of space available, and discussed plans to expand the national referral hospital's COVID capacity:

"Presently at the KHMH we have capacity for 36 patients with Covid19 and patients under investigation for Covid19. We have planned to expand further the capacity and we hope to be able to accommodate for 45 patients total. For today, I can tell you that there are 17 Covid related patients admitted at Karl Huesner. Of those, 12 are confirmed cases of Covid19; 5 of those patients are being ventilated. Additionally we have 5 patients being investigated for Covid19, but we don't have diagnosis at yet to confirm that in deed they are Covid positive."
Today;'s COVID numbers show 42 persons in the hospital with 5 in the ICU.
