50 COVID Hospitalizations

Over the past 24 hours 1 more person, an unvaccinated male from Cayo, has died from COVID 19.

There are 278 new COVID-positive patients that have been detected and the daily positive rate is 13.6%. The Belize District had the greatest number of cases at 112; out of that number, 97 are from Belize City. The Cayo District had 40 cases, while the Stann Creek District had 49.

There are also 50 hospitalizations countrywide, and out of that number, 14 are admitted to intensive care. 32 of the 50 - the figures you see in red - have no vaccines, and 9 of the 14 in the ICU also have no vaxx.
