And while those kids will be getting back to school donations, the Gift of Life clinic is back in Belize, assisting children with various heart conditions. The clinic arrives into the country twice a year and generally does check ups or specialized procedures that these children would normally not be able to access locally.

And today, one of the clinic's past patients volunteered to give back to the children and the program that might have saved her life. She spoke to us more about the clinic and about her own experience.

The doctors usually see about 80 patients over the four days of the clinic.
