A Belizean born soldier who served in the Iraq war and was awarded a bronze star or her service received her United States citizenship posthumously on Friday. 26-year-old U.S. army specialist Marva Gentle was on leave from duty in Iraq when she died on September 11th of this year in a car accident along with her husband. Well more than 2 months after her death, she was honored on Friday when her family was handed a certificate of posthumous citizenship. Gentle served with the Pennsylvania National Guard for two years. She left behind twin daughters.
