And if you 're watching that story and wondering where Charge' D affair Keith Gilges is, you may have missed the news of his July departure. But while Belize has seen the back of Gilges, a new Charge' is on her way.

She's Leya Moses-Ones, an employee of the State department who is soon to take up her new role as Charge d Affairs at the U.S. Embassy Belmopan. And today in the days before her imminent arrival she was described as having fresh eyes, fresh energy, and an ability to hit the ground running.

"Our charge arrives very soon; I won't tell you what date by very soon and no one will be happier to see her arrive than I will. We're looking forward to strengthening, our previous charge did a great job in his 3 years here but we're obviously excited for someone with fresh eyes, fresh energy to come in and we also anticipate the nomination of ambassador, we will be eager to share that with the media when it happens but in the interim I know we are going to be in great hands with our new charge Leya Moses Ones."
