Belize's US Ambassador Designate Had Baby

Two-time Olympic medalist and President Joe Biden's pick for Belize's next U.S. Ambassador Michelle Kwan, announced the birth of her first child yesterday via instagram.

Kwan shared a sweet photo of the newborn who she's named Kalista Belle Kwan.

In the caption she wrote, quote:"I'm overjoyed and tears of happiness are streaming down my face as I share the news," the 41-year-old wrote.

Kwan has yet to be approved by the senate to take up her new role in Belize but it is expected that, that confirmation will come at some point in 2022.
