The country with the world's fastest growing economy, Guyana held its election today - and tonight the outcome of the contest between the ruling People's Progressive Party, and the opposition "Partnership for National Unity"; and "We Invest In Nationhood." Is being closely watched.
Among those watching most closely is Belizean politician Darrell Bradley, who is part of the CARICOM Observer Team.
The 10's member mission's assignment of observing the electoral process runs from from 26 August to 3 September 2025. The team comprises electoral officials from eight CARICOM Member States and is led by the Chief of Mission, Josephine Tamai, Chief Elections Officer of Belize.
