If you had to travel along the George Price Highway today, you may have found yourself in a traffic jam. That's because the Ministry of Infrastructure was replacing a culvert near mile 8, replacing it with a double cell culvert.

It's a major project and it is expected to last two days - completion is scheduled for Thursday. In the meantime, traffic has been restricted to one lane, and drivers are asked to be aware of traffic signs and to avoid speeding.

And while the MIDH doesn't say that this was necessitated by a culvert failure, there is a heavy dip in the road when driving on that stretch of pavement.
