And, finally tonight...
One of the most significant milestones for Belizeans is to own a piece of land, and for 100 residents in the Caribbean Shores constituency, that dream was made possible today. Area rep Kareem Musa distributed titles to first time landowners told us how he got it done:

"This is the second time in the last three years the first was in 2021 towards the end of 2021 we received 75 land titles from the ministry of natural resources for distribution within our constituency to first time land owners and so that was right around the being of Covid and so you could imagine how people felt not just surviving Covid but then receiving a piece of land to me there is no greater feeling as a Belizean to own a piece of our jewel. We always hear it time and time again and so today for us to have this second installment where we were able to issue 100 titles to additional first time land
owners from our constituency it is truly a rewarding feeling and I am grateful to the CEO and the minister of natural resources who has been putting in a lot of work across the country not just in Caribbean shores. This is something for all the residents across the country for first time landowners I know that they have this programme and so it's truly and part of plan Belize executing on plan Belize and delivering what we promised."
