This morning on Sunup on 7, we shared this video of Toledo East High school students who had. To fix their own road after a culvert collapsed. They are seen here throwing big stones from their villages into the sunken area. This is the road between Sunday Wood and Crique Sarco junction. The video was taken on Monday and it was brought to the attention of the area rep Osmond Martinez on Wednesday - but up to this morning, it still wasn't fixed.
Well, it is now! After a strong name and shame on the Monday Morning Beef, the CEO in the Ministry of Infrastructure Development Victor Espat told us he contacted his district engineer immediately and mobilized them to fix the culvert.
But 6:00 this evening he sent up pictures showing the culvert had been full. Repaired and restored.
