Unions: 'Tax Write-off Is an Insult'

With all the swiftness of a snail in high gear, the Trade Union Congress has finally declared its position on government's business tax write off for the Carlisle Group. The release says that government cannot be allowed to give up revenues and that the tax write-off is "an insult to the Belizean people." The release closes by on a soft note by politely asking the Prime Minister to collect the outstanding tax plus arrears.
