Last night, we told you how Prime Minister John Briceno's office finally released the names of all the CEOs he intends to appoint to the different government ministries. Well, last week's social media pushback against some of the PUP personalities who were floated as potential CEOs has had some impact on the PM's final decision.

Marco Tulio Mendez, one of Briceno's designates, didn't make the final cut. He was supposed to become CEO of the Ministry of Health and Wellness. In fact, you'll remember that last week, the Ministry of Health posted this picture of Mendez, who was already at work at a desk in the Ministry. That post said that Health Minister Michel Chebat, and his Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Marco Tulio Mendez, held several meetings to get updated with the priority affairs of the Ministry. As we told you last night, Marco Tulio Mendez has been dropped, and instead, PM Briceno has selected Dr. Deysi Mendez to be the new Health and Wellness CEO.

And while there was that shake-up, the Prime Minister remains adamant at appointing the controversial figures: Narda Garcia, as CEO in the Office of the Prime Minister, and Amalia Mai as CEO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.

We understand that no final decision has been made on who will be the CEO of the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Climate Change, and Disaster Risk Management. None was named last night and sources tell us that this appointment remains unsettled at this time.
