And, while it can easily be countered that as Ambassador to the EU, resident in Belgium, that puts Ambassador Rosado right next to the Hague in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, that's where he will operate as co-agent in the territorial claim before the International Court of Justice, the UDP might still have an argument to leave him in Guatemala.

But the opposition stands on a much lower moral ground when it comes to its argument that the Briceno administration should quote, "urgently explore alternative means to increase revenue instead of relying solely on increasing the pump price of fuels."

The release notes that, quote, "since this Government was elected to office, less than three months ago, consumers have been subjected to no less than 6 increases in fuel prices."

And while it's a fair point for consumers and industrial users to make - when the UDP was in office it introduced the additional fuel tax as a revenue measure and never relented from it.
