The other issue that the UDP put at the centrepiece of its press conference is the plight of Director of Health Services, Dr Marvin Manzanero.
He's currently on five days of administrative leave - accused of misconduct and causing the deaths of citizens by not taking up BAHA on the use of their lab to run COVID tests.
Today Senator Sheena Pitts said that by blaming Manzanero for his decision making as DHS, the state could be blaming itself:
Hon. Sheena Pitts, U.D.P. Senator
"He acted on the advice and in consultation with the task force and at all times he was an agent of the state and if there was to be an allegation against him for professional misconduct at this juncture would mean to say that really what the government is attempting to do is attaching liability to his actions. What the government has failed to realize and why we believe it is shortsighted because if you try to attached liability to Dr. Manzanero's decisions and actions then you are making yourself liable because you are the government and so we have Dr. Diaz now on the end of having her professional name being called in to question by whatever reason as a result of politics and on the other end we have Dr. Manzanero who is now being pushed out of the way whilst still holding the substantive post and we are saying the way it is being done is what is not in the same tenner of them saying at the very beginning that we will rule this country accountably and transparently."

Hon. Tracy Taegar-Panton, UDP Area Rep.
"Some may say that Dr. Manza is at the top of the food chain but there are hundreds of people who are losing their jobs with this same level of arrogance by the People's United Party."
