Last Friday, we showed you PM John Briceno's journey from a sympathizer of the BNTU to their antagonizer.

He marched in solidarity with them just last year, and now things have taken a 180 turn; today they launched motorcades against him.

We asked the BNTU president about this reversal from the teacher's friend, to the teachers' target, and she said she's seen it before in very similar fashion with the previous Minister of Education.

Elena Smith, President, BNTU`

"Any party in opposition will always use the work of the unions of the actions of the unions for their benefit. We don't invite to our events, but they come and the join our events. We saw in 2005 with Patrick Faber, Mr Faber, he was with us. He got in the government and what happened? You saw that. We saw when Mr Briceno when he was in opposition walked along with the teachers while we were protesting in 2016. They are in the government now, what are they doing?"
