And what does the PM ahem to say in response?
Today, Several media houses, including 7News, waited for several hours outside of the compound of the House of Culture, in the hopes of getting an interview with Prime Minister. He and his ministers were inside having their weekly Cabinet meeting.
Earlier in the evening, we sent a text message asking for one, and he responded saying, quote, "Sorry, but it's best I don't give an interview at this time. We are in negotiations so I want to give the negotiations a chance to succeed." End quote.
About half-hour before the start of the news, when his vehicle exited the compound's main entrance, he made that same point, and here's how that brief interaction went:
Hon. John Briceno, Prime Minister
"I don't want to say anything right now, after the negotiations."
