Another question that the minister wasn't too keen on answering had to do with the fact that both he and his sister are a part of the same Cabinet.
Magali Marin Young was appointed as Attorney General when the Briceno government was swept into office; she is the younger sibling of Minister Marin.
And while the sibling situation is at least worthy of note and fair comment, today big brother wasn't about to have it – he was quick to snap to her defence, even when no one was making an attack.
Courtney Menzies "Do you find that this is optimal to have siblings in the same Cabinet?"
Hon. Florencio Marin - Minister of Defence "(laughs) Are you questioning her capability?"
Courtney Menzies "Of course not, I'm just saying that..."
Hon. Florencio Marin "Please make sure you put that on the record that you're not questioning her capability. I think more look at it that she's the best attorney general so far in just these five short months, she has shown incredible tenacity and incredible record, so that's where I'll leave that."
