As you can see the Minister of Health was ramping through the media's questions like he was in a lighting round in the Jeopardy game show.

But when it came to the question about "what caused the sudden transfer of his Miistry's FO with over 25 years experience?". He slowed down just enough to try and cast spurious shade at this newsroom:

Reporter
"Did you chase public officers from the Ministry of Health and Wellness from their office? They are saying that you sent them home."

Michel Chebat, Minister of Health & Wellness "Absolutely not true and I want to tell you that that matter will be ventilated in another forum down the road."

Duane Moody, reporter
"The F.O. from the ministry was being threatened; you were threatening to send her home because she didn't want to sign off on some payments. They also spoke of other officers within the ministry of health being told you are not needed anymore, go home."

Michel Chebat, Minister of Health & Wellness
"That's absolutely not true. The F.O. was transferred out of the ministry. We had a conversation. The conversation she and I had was based on the budget; it had nothing to do with anything else. I want to say for a fact; I know that Channel Seven for example have put out some receipts or invoices for vehicle repair for me. The P.S.U. made a big deal saying that I am not entitled because I am getting vehicle allowance. I want to say categorically, I am not receiving vehicle allowance at this time and I am surprised channel seven has not given out my payslip because they have had my payslip since January of this year."

Indeed, we have seen Chebat's payslip - and it does not include the $1,350.00 for vehicle allowance. But, contrary to what he said, we have never aired or seen receipts having to do with Chebat's vehicle repairs.
