PSU Reflects On Labour Day

Earlier on we showed you today's PSU/BNTU protest in the city.

And in the midst of all that agitation is Labor Day which will be observed tomorrow. It's a day that pays tribute to the contribution of workers and bringing awareness to the exploitation they face. And now, it falls on the weekend before PSU's strike begins.

A telling coincidence and so we asked Union VP Dean Flowers about his thoughts on the day considering the current climate between the unions and the government. He said that they will be using tomorrow as a service day.

Tonight in Belmopan, the unions will be having a candlelight vigil tonight to honor laborers. It starts at 7pm on the steps of the National Assembly.
