On Friday, we showed you the hashtag "Justice For Laddie" demonstration at Battlefield Park. While those who supported it had hoped the numbers would be greater, they're not giving up in the fight for justice. The organizer, Brian Guardado, said that they would continue to protest, no matter how long it took, until they saw some sort of change whether in the department or in the constitution. And he's backed up by the young people who were greatly affected by young Laddie's death.
Courtney Menzies spoke with a few of them, and has this story.
The group is planning a procession for August 2nd, which will be celebrated as Emancipation Day for the first time in Belize.
