So the government is taking hits from inside the Cabinet and outside in the public sphere. Earlier we told you about a post from the Facebook Users, Norris and Sandra Hall, made by their joint account. And they aren't the only prominent PUP supporters to state that the government is straying far from its vision and ideals.

Glenn Tillett made his own post about the reports of GOB's move to Smart, in which he said, quote, "It should be obvious to those powers that be that the proposed move is not only unpopular but will be opposed for all good reasons by an overwhelming majority of the electorate." End quote. He also made a comment about the former governor of Central Bank, saying that many are still shocked and perplexed at this news.

Hector Silva also took to Facebook to say, quote, "Belize is not moving in the right direction as was envisaged… I issue a friendly warning to prime minister John Briceno. Please watch the advice you are getting. Things are not looking too good out here."

Today we asked the for the PM's response to these comments by known party supporters.

Hon. John Briceno, Prime Minister
"Well I don't know if any of them are prominent PUPs they have not been active PUPs they might be supporters of the PUP."

Jules Vasquez:
"Don Hector?"

Hon. John Briceno, Prime Minister
"But they're not active, they don't work for the PUP."

Jules Vasquez:
"I'm sure they voted for PUP."

Hon. John Briceno, Prime Minister
"They vote for PUP but they're not out there campaigning for the PUP. This is all a part of the democracy and if they want to sound the alarm, then that's good, we need to take a look and see if we're going wrong somewhere but I can assure you that decisions we make are in good conscious and to ensure that we could get this country back on its feet. If we can't address the economic situation, we are doomed, we noh have no money to give away so I welcome their criticism, maybe I need to sit down and look and rethink if we're going anywhere away from what the PUP is all about, I don't think so, but we just listen and take it from there."
