But moving on from just cruise tourism - current President Almendarez says they plan to lead a movement against the government of Belize - which they feel needs to be held to account. Almendarez's usual rage was sharpened by very blunt insults for the Prime Minister:

"Our country is in a very dyer state. We have have a very untalented prime minister, a very untalented cabinet. He start the talent word you know, he talk about talent, that duncy untalented prime minister could be the worse we've ever seen if we don't put a stop to him. We need a movement, we need to start a movement, hold these people accountable, we need the unions to unite, we need the stevedores to unit, we need the teachers to unite, we need the thinkers of this country to unite now, we can't afford 5 more years of this tyranny. This circus here can't last 5 more years, the ticket is not enough, we got a set of clowns the run our country. The corruption level worse than ever, nepotism worse than ever, I have called every single president of these association and we will unite and we will send a message to this government that we are nothing to play with. You no got 4 years to run our country red, you will be held accountable today."
