And while we won't hold our breaths for that, the People's Constitutional Commission is slowly taking form. The PM updated us today, saying that they will start sending out invites to candidates in different sectors.
But what about the media? The vaunted Fourth Estate has been excluded so far - but Briceno explained that he's willing to engage in dialogue about it.

"What happened, we discussed it at the last Cabinet meeting and it is important now for us to start the process of setting up that commission. We want to ensure that that Commission, to report back within one year and we're in the process of inviting people from different sectors of the communities, from the NGO's to the private sector to the political parties and so forth. I know now that I've heard people in the media say that no one has invited them from the media, I don't think it was done deliberately, that we do not want to invite the media, but when I get back, we can certainly take a look at that and invite a member of the media to represent."
