ALBERTO STILL ALIVE, ESCAPED EXPULSION

UDP Vice Chairman Alberto August took center - stage at the handing in of the petition to recall his leader Shyne Barrow today.

But, how did he do it? Considering that August was sanctioned for disciplinary infractions in September - after he posted public criticisms of the party.

Well, August tells us that he did go - with an attorney to face the Ethics Committee. He says the case against him wasn't substantial and in the end, he escaped without expulsion. He says it was simply agreed that he wouldn't do it again. His side-man, Delroy Cuthkelvin never did go to face the committee and was expelled from the party - but only for a year.
