But while he says he's not leaving the party, Faber isn't afraid to air its dirty laundry - and he isn't holding back. In a rant against the party's leader and chairman, he called what was done to the Collet Executive Committee an "atrocity" and said that he was wrongly taken off the NPC chat group - even though he is still an elected member of the party. He explained that the party is now a train that has run off its tracks with no hope of reasoning with its conductor, Shyne Barrow.

"What they want me to do is to sit down with my hands behind back and close mouth and not talk about the atrocities that are happening within the party. Look at what happened with the Collet executive committee. We shared a letter from the executive that was duly put in place. The convention that was held is completely illegal. I wrote to the chairman who is lazy and does nothing, you've heard me say that and I'll repeat. He does not even answer the letter from the duly elected committee members of the Collet constituency. The constitution of our party and the by-laws that governs constituency committees are very clear, that it is that committee, the executive committee that should decide when a convention is held and should preside over the convention. So they can't call something at UDP office and claim that they will put something in place a new committee - completely wrong, completely illegal by our party's standards, but nobody cares."
"This party is now a runaway train. The leader does whatever he wants. The chairman supports him in the nonsense he does and as a result of that the kind of hope you have that we could sit down at the table and have reasonable discussions and that reasonable people, reasonable minds will prevail doesn't seem to be possible. Again, I repeat, I am a UDP, I love my party, I am elected under the party's banner. So, I don't want anybody to say I am leaving the UDP. I am in this party. In fact, they took me off the National Party Council's chat group. They can't do that, another indication that they are crazy. The leadership is just doing what it's want to do. I am an elected member of the National Assembly under the UDP. So, they can't take me out of the National Party Council even if they endorse another standard bearer. That's complete nonsense."
