According to Fraser, It's a state of affairs that has inspired discontent in the magistracy.
Fraser says it's a tough place to be, not quite a public servant and not quite a member of the judiciary, but worst of all having no champion or united group to defend them.
Sharon Frazer, Chief Magistrate
"I feel that there is no one fighting for us, if I don't fight for them then the question might be so who will fight for you, I feel that really there is nobody fighting for us. When it is convenient we are judiciary when it's not convenient we are public officers. So that at the end of the day, nobody really pays attention until something like today then they realize oh magistracy exists. So, I know I can't speak to how the three senior magistrates feel at this point. All I know is that if it is that it is somebody who has little or no judicial experience this desk will be very hard on that individual and hard as far as the seniors are concerned because the chief magistrate is supposed to be there to help and guide the running of the magistracy."
