And while Barrow felt the putdown was a major misstep by the current PM, Foreign Minister, Eamon Courtenay who retains Juratowich as lead attorney on Belize's most important sovereign case said he's not bothering himself about what the Prime Minister said:

"The prime Minister said that just this weekend I believe."

"Well then question the prime minister about that."

"But as the minister of immigration is it concerning given that I understand Mr Juratowich is one of our representatives at the Hague, so is it concerning that the pm would say that he misunderstood an assignment?"

"It is not concerning to me."

"Okay but do you believe persons might find that concerning persons in the public sphere? Who knows that he is a representative, one of our representatives at the Hague."
