Commissioner of Police Chester Williams faced a disgruntled senior command today at his weekly Commanders' Meeting.

That's because he officially unveiled new postings for senior officers - and some senior cops felt they were passed over.

We'll get to that, but first to the list which we unveiled on Sunup before the Compol. Here's his response to our list:

Jules Vasquez
"Reports are that you will outline a new command structure, or a new heads of formations. Explain to me where we are with that."

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Jules, I was watching some up this morning and I saw you put up a list of prospective transfers and I wonder and I ask myself question, is there another commissioner who made that list? That didn't come from me. Certainly, yes, we are making some changes. But the list that you put up, I don't know where that came from. It's not from me. So you need to tell me now who is that commission who gave you that list and then maybe that commissioner and I can see if we can come to some compromise, right?

"But again, I am not going to say much about the changes right now. I know you have mentioned a couple of and I have no issue to say that Ms.. Sandra Bodden, who is the head of Special Branch, will be taking over as Commander Administration, Mr. Gualberto Garcia will be taking over as head Special Branch, Mr. Jeffrey Gabourel will be taking over as Commander Division Three. Mr. Doyle Sutherland will move to Belize City as one of the deputies to Mr. Romero. Mr. Basil Reyes is taking over as commander MIT and not Casanova, as you reported. The other transfers to the bottom. Oh, Mr. Noble, is also moving as the northern regional commander."

"The other transfers you had at the bottom. I don't know where those came from. Those didn't come from me. And those are not moves I intend to make."
