There is a visiting delegation of four UK Members of Parliament from both the Conservative and Labor Parties. They are Anna McMorrin, Kerry McCarthy, Pauline Latham and Vicky Ford.

They met today with the Leader of the Opposition Shyne Barrow and the Prime Minister John Briceno.

But, the Leader of the Opposition had a surprise "plus one". 7News has confirmed that he showed up to the meeting with none other than Lord Michael Ashcroft. Barrow told us that as a member of the British conservative party, Ashcroft was familiar with the MP's from the UK. He added that Ashcroft was "a guest of the UK Delegation, who...are his friends from their days when he was their Party Chairman."

Our sources refute that - and say that Ashcroft accompanied Barrow to his meeting with the MP's, and was not there for the Prime Minister's meeting with them which followed.
