And while we have so far covered almost every angle of this major UDP rift - you didn't hear from Panton's two biggest backers: Patrick Faber and John Saldivar.
They may be politically discredited - each in his own way - but they are both former party leaders. And Faber is the party's most senior parliamentarian.
We asked them why they are supporting Panton:
John Saldivar, Belmopan Area Rep

"Want good leadership. I think we can sum it up in that. I don't think we need to get into the details of what got us here. but we are of the view that honorable Tracy Panton should take on the leadership of the party if given the opportunity at the convention."
"I will support her."
Jules Vasquez
"It is felt that both of you gentlemen, have aspirations to lead the UDP and that in supporting Tracy Panton you all are just setting her up to take a loss because the UDP is widely perceived, especially with this big fight now, would lose the next general election."
"How do you all respond to that? Are you all setting up Tracy?"
John Saldivar, Belmopan Area Rep
"Obviously not. This is for the long haul. I believe this is not just the trend now for Belize, but across the world."
"I think that Tracy fits the qualities of the type of leader that we want that can carry us into the next decade. So there isn't, in my view, any, opportunistic behavior on my part. I want to see her become the first woman prime minister of Belize."

Patrick Faber, UDP Member
"If I had wanted to run, nobody would stop me from running. So when you see, I tell you that I am 100% with her. That's what I mean. I think I think that the time has come as, as John has said, that we need to to go to a different level."
"And I really feel that Tracy, not only because she's a woman, but yes, she's a woman. I think she has the wherewithal. She has the the character, she has the skill set needed to lead this party."
In that exchange Saldivar also said he is no longer interested in leading the UDP.
And, even after all that talk, it didn't end there. Leader Shyne Barrow alleges that those who stayed behind with Panton disrespected his office by tossing a tamales across the desk onto his chair.
