But beyond that "cold tamale" - there is the real business of the petition to force a national convention.
Well it was delivered to the UDP today - and it will be reviewed by the Chairman - who has not - in the past - been sympathetic to any requests made by Panton, Faber or Saldivar.
So how will this one be different? We asked Panton:
