Minister Usher Says Telecoms Law Won't Change

Interestingly, Minister Henry Charles Usher says that there is no change to the Telecoms act currently on the table:

"The Telecommunications Act states that there must be competition, would you guys be prepared to change that legislation?"

"I don't think that's on the table right now to look at any changes in the legislation."

"I've seen persons say that that's what the Act says, but I haven't gotten any legal advice to say that it is requiring that."
