The People’s Constitution Commission, Back In The News

The People's Constitution Commission - it's been a while since we heard about them after their final report was submitted in May of 2025.

Well, the Ministry of Constitution and Religious Affairs today "convened a presentation meeting with the former Chairs of the PCC as part of the Government's ongoing review of the Final Report."

The former PCC Chairs presented on the Commission's work and outlined the thematic areas and key recommendations emerging from the constitutional reform process.

The release adds that the Ministry continues its structured review of the PCC Final Report leading to a review and assessment of the recommendations." Former PCC chairs and CEO Chester Williams also attended the meeting.
