And while she has the human resources, the Auditor-General says that in the year and a half since she was appointed—she has come to realize that the work of her office is more necessary than ever:

"You know, I have always believed that during my entire career, I've believed that accountability is important, and we have always fought for that at the office. So when I took over, I had high expectations. I must say that I started with high expectations. But slowly, we are realizing that the work of the office is even more necessary than ever. So one and a half years, three annual audit reports, I think my work speaks for itself. And presenting a Cabinet paper where I want my work given to the public at the time that I prepare it, I think speaks volumes as well."
