The Belize basketball Federation is calling all ballers to participate in this weekend's thre eon three tournament in the city.
It's not an event designed for elite players - and BBF President Paul Thompson says all you need to know is how to play a game of "3":
Paul Thompson - President, Belize Basketball Federation
"All basketball players are eligible to participate. This category of basketball, as you know, for the players, we've been playing this all our lives. This event - this tour - is like a culmination and celebration of all these years that we've been playing 3 by 3. It will be like a party atmosphere; drinks food, and all of those things will be available. It will be hyped; there will be a crowd. We want it to be a family atmosphere. We have 2 categories: we have the men's senior category. So that's open, all players: males over 18. And then, there is a second category, the U-18 category, players born 1994 and after."
Registration is happening tomorrow and Friday starting at four at the River Tavern Parking lot...
