City In Darkness At Newstime

Earlier tonight our newscast was interrupted because of an emergency power outage that is affecting a portion of Belize City. According to BEL, this outage is to urgently repair damaged equipment at the Magazine Road Substation and will last until 7:30 - although most areas have been restored. Areas affected include the entire city, up to mile 1 on the Philip Goldson Highway and Mile 1 on the George Price Highway.
