Today there was no Chamber of Commerce sanctioned business shutdown. But some businesses shut down in solidarity anyway and Keith Swift found out how it was affecting patrons and those who service those businesses.

Shopper #1,
"I came here very early with a little list that I usually buy from them and I can't go to the bigger stores so I have to go back to the Chinese shop."

Keith Swift,
How big of an inconvenience is it for you?

Shopper #1,
"A big inconvenience because I could normally just go around the corner and go back. I am a old lady and I want to get my rest so I come out early and do what I have to do and go home."

Taxi-Man,
"Well me as a taxi-man, along with my brethrens out here, it really affects us because we used to come out about 8 am when the supermarket opens and maybe by mid0day we would have a $50 to $60 in our pocket. But from this morning up until the time right now, 11:50, I only have $6 so it really affects us. I don't know what we will do for the rest of today so I'd really want them to open the place back as quick as possible. The Prime Minister should settle what he has to settle with the people so we can continue our daily trend."

Keith Swift,
Do you agree with what all is going on?

Taxi-Man,
"Well we agree with the schools and the stores them because a stop has to come to this for better to come to the country. So we agree with them because I mean it throws us off but it is like you are sacrificing for better, especially for our children."

School Boy,
"I think its pretty bad because the teachers supposed to get a raise and they deserve a raise, they really need the raise."

Keith Swift,
Do you miss being in school?

School Boy,
"Yes I really miss being in school because when we are out here we are losing a part of our education."

Keith Swift,
What you understand about what all is going on?

School Boy,
"That the government doesn't want to give people a raise but the taxes are going up."
